x is for xavier: Xavier Veilhan
I'm going to run out of art Xs soon... x-ray, xylophone, xavier.... What else? I guess I'll just have to recycle somehow. (Though it was hard to find the ones I found before. Quick, people, make more art about x-rays and xylophones! I'll post it here! Maybe I'll just try to make my own. There isn't enough art about things that start with X in the world.)

08-23-10.
I've been thinking a lot lately about all the random people that I find online. Many of us are pretty boring and insignificant. I guess that's okay. Its just interesting to see so many people leaving traces of themselves.

08-22-10. Egg drop soup memento mori.
It's pretty sad to read all these people describing how grossed-out they were to handle a whole dead chicken. Where do they think fried drumsticks come from? Too many of us are out of touch with nature, death, and reality.

08-13-10. 1st trip to the enoteca @ Goose.
I went to the new enoteca in the basement at Goose the Market for the first time today. They have all kinds of interesting stuff to try. I had a bottle of Xingu black beer from Brazil, Marcona almonds from Spain, and assorted olives. The Xingu really was pitch black, but the flavor and texture was very light. The Marcona almonds were very sweet and tasty. I look forward to going again to try out some of the other things they have, including some other beers, wines, cheeses, and meats.
