@cantorarosemary #clove

Okay, so here's how this works:

This is my first attempt at making an augmented reality painting. It's a bit clumsy and obvious, but this will have to do for now. I considered using a QR code, but I'm not sure how much longer that's going to be around. I know that Twitpic and even Twitter could disappear one day. If that happens, then I guess this painting will become a little historical document. (Next time, I'll leave out the "http://".)

So alright. This is a painting of an imaginary tweet to a real Twitter user about a real pumpkin pie. Here it is, complete with hyperlinks:

I'm trying to give the painting more depth. I want to make it something interactive. A viewer could leave comments on the Twitpic link (hopefully nothing rude). I hope I'll come up with a more elegant solution eventually. Until then, this will have to suffice.

11-08-10. Moth.

I found a cheap little set of 36 watercolor paints at Michaels today. Painting is a bit less frustrating now that I don't have to worry so much about mixing every color. This is much better for quick sketching.
