It's a bit of a stretch, but West is connected to ukuleles via a musician named Billy Jenkins. Jenkins worked with a ukulele player before, and Jenkins' music helped to inspire this and other paintings by West. Anyway... I'll just admit it, I was in a bit of a hurry today.
