Dandelion Seeds (Puffball)
CLOTHING - A blouse with a dandelion-ish print, like this one from ModCloth. ModCloth clothes have names that sound like they were chosen by an algorithm. Yes, I'm aware that ModCloth is owned by Wal-Mart. I own one amazing ModCloth dress that fits perfectly, which can be a tricky thing when you're near plus-size like I am.

Art Deco Glassware
SCENT - Amber by Demeter Fragrance Library ~ I'm wearing Amber today, along with Vanilla Cake Batter (which smells like Rice Krispie treats in a good way). One of Demeter's better scents, imo (along with aphrodisiac Pumpkin Pie...).

Floret–Lovely Small Flowers
SOUND - Cath Kidston is known for her floral print accessories. Her Desert Island Discs interview was aired on 4/24/2011. I like her selection of the Monty Python song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life". The "Cath Kidston Playlist" by Heather Graham has a fun mix of pop songs, presumably chosen with Kidston or her shops in mind.

122 Red, a Japanese Good Luck Color (PCC)
SOUND ~ hōgaku, or traditional Japanese music - including koto (strings) and shakuhachi (flute) music ~ The shakuhachi is commonly used and synthesized in Western music. It's prominently featured in the song "Cherry Blossom Girl" (2004) by the French electronic music duo Air (nsfw). My drawing today is a detail of a still from the song's music video, which was directed by an adult film director.

088 Moonlight Serenade (PCC)

As in "Moonlight Serenade", that Glenn Miller tune that's shorthand for old Hollywood. I can almost guarantee you've heard it before, if you've spent any time at all on 20th century American pop culture. I feel like I heard it several times on Looney Tunes cartoons somewhere...
SCENT - Moonbeam by Demeter Fragrance Library
Today's randomly selected color scheme is #088 Moonlight Serenade from Naomi Kuno's Practical Color Combinations.

| TASTE - Yorkshire Tea Gold |
I don't want to spend a lot of time explaining this, I just want to do it. Hopefully it will make more sense as I go along.
Right now I'm calling these "color senses" for lack of a better name idea. I want to turn the 252 color schemes from my two favorite Japanese color scheme books into a set of experiences for the five senses. The sense of touch is represented by clothing, and the sense of sight is represented by space. The rest are self-explanatory.
